Network Rail Route Improvement Work – 24 & 25 October

There will be changes to some train services operated by National Express East Anglia due to route improvement work being carried out by Network Rail on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October. National Express East Anglia and Network Rail apologise for any inconvenience caused by these works and advise customers to check amended timetable information at stations and on the Train Service Alterations section of the website or by calling National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50. The main alterations to train services as a result of Network Rail improvement work are as follows:
Manningtree to Harwich Town – 24 & 25 October

On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October and until further notice, buses will replace trains between Manningtree and Harwich.
Cambridge to Norwich -24 & 25 October

On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October, Cambridge to Norwich services will be replaced by buses between Cambridge and Thetford.
Liverpool Street to Colchester, Ipswich, Norwich – 25 October

On Sunday 25 October from the beginning of services until 15.00:

• Services from Liverpool Street to Ipswich will be replaced by buses between Colchester and Ipswich.

• Intercity services from Liverpool Street to Norwich will be replaced by buses between Colchester and Stowmarket.

On Sunday 25 October after 15.00:

• Services from Liverpool Street to Ipswich will be replaced by buses between Colchester and Manningtree.

• Intercity services from Liverpool Street to Norwich will be replaced by buses between Colchester and Ipswich.

A train service will operate between Liverpool Street and Colchester all day.
Ipswich to Cambridge / Peterborough – Sunday 25 October (until 15.00)

On Sunday 25 October from the beginning of service until 15.00, services from Ipswich to Cambridge or Peterborough will be replaced by buses between Ipswich and Stowmarket.
Liverpool Street to Enfield Town, Hertford East, Stansted Airport and Cambridge – Sunday 25 October  (until 09.00)

On Sunday 25 October from the beginning of service until 09.00, all services which usually travel via Tottenham Hale will be diverted via Seven Sisters.
Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria (until 16.00) and Billericay to Southminster (until midday)

On Sunday 25 October from the beginning of service until midday, Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria services will be replaced by buses between Billericay and Southend Victoria, buses will also replace trains between Billericay and Southminster.

From midday until 16.00, Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria services will be replaced by buses between Wickford and Southend Victoria.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Stoke City Football Match – Service Alterations – 24 October – 15.00 Kick Off

On Saturday 24 October, additional train services have been arranged to stop at White Hart Lane and Northumberland Park, before and after the match.
