Michael Roberts, Chief Executive at the Association of Train Operating Companies commenting on the latest National Rail Trends update which show that between April and June complaints have fallen from 57 to 54 per 100,000 journeys compared to the same period last year said:

“Passengers’ complaints are now at their lowest since records began, showing that train operators are delivering good and reliable services to their customers.

“This with record punctuality of 93.6% has helped reduce the number of complaints that train operators have received between April and June. We must however keep improving services to ensure that as few passengers as possible have cause to complain about their journey.”
