There is only 1 train that makes this journey. It is called “The Orient Express”. I understand that this is very expensive, though it will bring you through the rich hinterland of Malaysia and it is a wonderful experience. I believe it takes approximately 5/6 days from Singapore to Bangkok.

On the other hand, you could choose to fly; either with a full-board airline (like SIA, or Thai Airways) or you could go with a budget airline (like Tiger Airways).

    Hope this helps.

At Railway Station in Tanjong Pagar to border JB and up to Haahyat, Southern Thailand border town and up to Bangkok…….a long journey with connecting train of Malaysian & Thai. Check details at Rail Stn.

By plane is quick & cheap, more than 30 flight per day.

You must have love sitting in the train a lot, you need to change train in butterworth

1)From Tanjung Pagar to Butterworth ( 14 hrs ) stay one night in Butterworth
    2)From Butterworth to Bangkok ( 23 hrs ) departing 2.20 pm daily
