I am London Midland rail staff,do i need to pay for ticket to catch Virgin train?

Yes, unless you have protected priv (if your service in the railways started before 1996), you will show your staff card and get a reduced rate at the ticket office (its usually 25% of the fare) sometimes its cheaper to get advance tickets.

This is my understanding of it from someone I just asked now, As I was unsure of this.

If your going london, doesn’t London midland run a service to london?
