Dalston Kingsland railway station is located on the North London Line (NLL). This is located in Dalston, on the western side of Kingsland High Street (A10) opposite Ridley Road market. The station and all trains serving it are operated by London Overground. It is in Travelcard Zone 2.

This station was opened on May 16,1983. An earlier ‘Kingsland’ railway station on the same site opened in 1850 and eventually closed in 1865 when the City Extension of the North London Railway (NLR) to Broad Street which opened with a triangular junction and was joined through the existing tracks which is east of and west of the railway station.

Typical off-peak frequency at the railway station is four trains per hour for westbound passengers to Richmond via Highbury & Islington, Camden Road and Willesden Junction. There are four trains per hour eastbound to Stratford but service intervals vary from about seven minutes during rush-hours to 30 minutes during Sundays.
