The restoration has begun of a famous Scottish steam engine brought home from South Africa after more than 60 years.

Wemyss Bay Station has been named as the Best Adopted Station in Scotland by Passenger Focus, the independent passenger watchdog.

TWO charities have each received £1000 – the prizes won by ScotRail’s safety team in an awards’ competition.
The donations went to Alzheimer Scotland and the Meningitis Trust.
