I used this rover ticket recently. Excellent value. Thoroughly enjoyed a full week away from home. Used the ticket each day to make it more cost effective and based myself in a cheap b&b in York. Although living outside the area covered by the rover, I used http://www.buycheaptraintickets.co.uk to help purchase cheap rail tickets to get inside the area and back home again after the week was up.
