A very wet and miserable day in south Wales! Passenger traffic includes HSTs, 170s, 150s and 158s. 66161 Passes Cardiff with an Aberthaw-Avonmouth Coal train, along with 60024 working a steel trip Margam-Corby?? Back at Newport we see 66034 on a Uskmouth-Tees docks loaded coal, 60031 with 6C80 Machen-Westbury Hanson stone and a Shed convoy with 66040 leading, 66137 in the middle with 66021 yinging on the rear. To finish the day off, 47237 passes with a crazy 2tone working a Cardiff Tidal-Stockton scrap Train, this was suprise of the day!
